The Household Count
Where the kits are
Write the place a person can reach. A home bin, a work kit, a car kit, and a bag someone can carry. A remote property is not the plan.
Home
Work, at least 24 hours
Ready.gov’s kit page says be ready to shelter at work for at least 24 hours. Leave this block blank if nobody in the house goes to a workplace.
Car
The current kit page recommends a car kit and does not give it a day-count. Leave the block blank if this house has no car. The no-car leave-plan is on the reunion sheet.
A bag a person can carry
The bag is for leaving on foot or by transit. It is not a second home.
Fiction. Not your house.
In the apartment sample the home supplies are the sealed jugs in the hall closet, the same place as the nine gallons on the water sheet. One adult is often at work, so the 24-hour work block is the one that household would fill. The infant does not have a workplace. No cabin and no second property is part of this plan.
